Konstantinovsky Palace

Konstantinovsky Palace was originally supposed to be the 8th Wonder of the World, or at least Russian Versailles. It was built upon the exceptional project of French architect Jean Batist Le Blond. Some of his conceptions still look quite unusual. For example the building has two front doors - Nothern Doors from the Gulf of Finland and Southern Doors from Peterhof highway. The biggest Hall in the Palace is Blue Hall, which occupies the territory of 400 square meters. Nowadays Konstantinovsky Palace is a part of national complex&nb sp;«Congress Palace». Everyone can come here on excursion and enjoy collections of Russian paintings, graphic arts, porcelain, collected by famous Russian musicians Galina Vishnevskaya and Mstislav Rastropovich.
