On the site of modern Anapa, 25 centuries ago, there stood the Greek settlement of Gorgippius. It was a town craftsmen, famed for its stunning ceramics, the secret of which was long lost, only to now be discovered in our own era by the potter Vladimir Ivanisov. Together with host Rumia Niyazova, the master craftsmen creates an oinocheo, an ancient container for wine.
