More than 92 different nationalities of people live in The Karachay–Cherkess Republic. There their many cultures have been strongly influenced by the mountainous region in which they live. Despite the fact that the modern world provides us with an abundance and variety of different foods and spices, these mountain peoples continue to follow their culinary traditions from the past.
