Sports Fishing for Chub

The Kuban River flows through three of Russia’s administrative regions, originating in the Republic of Karachaevo-Cherkessia. The river itself is almost 900 kilometers long and home to more than 100 species of fish, including chub, a rather small member of the carp family often confused in the water with nase. RTG TV host Denis Golovko learned how to tell them apart and went out fishing with local fishermen.
