Tour of Rostov-on-Don

Russia is home to two Rostovs – the first in Yaroslavl Oblast, and the second in southern Russia on the bank of the Don River, one of the longest rivers in Europe. Rostov-on Don is famous for its rich air, filled with the smell of prairie grasses, its excellent fishing, unconventional architecture and beautiful young women. RTG  TV host Denis Golovko set off to travel around the old city; there he saw unusual buildings in the form of a tractor, a grand piano and a giant can, he tried Don herring, and met Anatoly Sknarin, the author of the city’s legendary monument and trademark.
