The Kola Nuclear Power Plant is the first nuclear power plant founded beyond the Arctic circle. Today it's one of the most effective in Russia's nuclear industry. For many years this enterprise has been working under Arctic extreme conditions and provides more than a half of needed electric power in Murmansk Oblast and Karelia.
