Kamchatka is a peninsula of unseen beauty and gorgeous nature. Vast territory washed by the Pacific Ocean, the Bering Sea and Sea of Okhotsk. This is the land of volcanoes, geysers and... inexhaustible natural resources. Kamchatka is said to be the most abounding in fish place of Russia!
The fishing kolkhoz* named after Lenin is located near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the village of Seroglazka. It is one of the oldest fishing enterprises in Russia. Igor Maximenko put to the open ocean together with the naval depot of stern trawlers for fishing for walleye pollock! So he succeeded not only in fishing, but preparing genuine Kamchatka delicacies. *Kolkhoz was a form of collective farming in the Soviet Union.
