Their sun batteries and nickel hydrogen storage batteries are main sources of power for a sixth part of all the automatic spacecrafts. Including the Yamal satellite that transmits a signal of out TV channel. Production looks like an operating room – any speck of dust may cause waste. Each element is tested for the durability to prevent any problems in the outer space. The battery cycle life is no less than 15 years!
