Modern society lives in a world full of things and products made from oil. This most valuable natural deposit often called “black gold” plays one of the key roles in the economic structure of any country. More than 3,500 different products are made from this deposit. Oil is a natural wonder which has opened a surprising number of opportunities concerning chemical transformations to mankind. RTG TV host Igor Maksimenko got to know the work of one of the biggest oil companies in the Bashkir Republic, Bashneft. Igor visited Bashneft’s developing fields as well as its oil-refining plant where he found out how oil is transformed into gasoline.
