Mosfilm, one of the oldest film studios in Russia, was established in 1923 as a self-sufficient film-making “city”- a site where all parts of the movie production process could – and continue to - take place. RTG TV host Irina Pudova saw how things work on the other side of the screen. She found out just how many costumes are stored in the wardrobe department warehouses, what sounds you can get a bouquet of artificial flowers to make, whether or not the antique automobiles on display at the film studio museum actually work and what dreams the film directors have.
