In Slavic mythology the holiday means separation of winter and spring. They don't abandon national traditions at the Taltsy Museum of Architecture and Ethnography by greeting bright sun with khorovods* and pancakes. The presenter Irina Pudova mastered stilts walking, learned how to make clay penny whistle and even worked in an ancient forge. *Khorovod is a Slavic art form, a combination of a circle dance and chorus singing, similar to Chorea of ancient Greece.
