The Krykty-Tau is a name of mountain range in the South Ural nor far from the metallurgical country's capital Magnitogorsk. The distance from Moscow makes up 2 000 kilometers. This is where the largest ski resort of the South Ural Abzakovo is located. Novo-Abzakovo is a small village, which population works every day in a good c ause for vacationers. Practically every local resident has it's own tourist's business, someone sells hot tea or sports clothes, another one accommodates lodgers in a private mini-hotels. Alpine skiing tracks of the resort Abzakovo are popular not only with skiers and snowboard lovers. This is where the stages of Russia Ski Cup were held, and scores of Russian and European sportsmen rolled the mountain range of the Krykty-Tau far and wide. They were very satisfied with it. The service is excellent and traces take a breath away. The matter is each trace is unique and has it's own character and particularities. The Ural Mountains, which downhills the traces were stretched along, are the oldest in the Earth. Their average height makes up more than one and a half thousands meters. The snow at the peaks don't melt till the middle of the summer. Therefore the ski season lasts for 7-8 months.
