Competitive Fishing for Carp

Carp fishermen from all over Russia love to visit Shapovalovsky Pond – one of the country’s major bodies of water where fishing competitions take place on a regular basis. The pond covers thirty hectares and is full of clean water and lots of fish, which is of particular importance to most fishermen. It takes almost four hours to set up and get ready to go carp fishing, but the preparation pays off. Host Denis Golovko tried his luck at fishing in the popular pond and took a photo with his impressive catch, which he then released to swim another day.
